4. And the Glory
(Prologue/the Prophecy)
And
the glory of the Lord
shall be revealed
and
all flesh shall see it together,
for
the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it

gloire du Seigneur

révélera,

chair pareillement la verra
Car la
bouche du Seigneur a parlé

7. And he shall purify
And
He shall purify the sons of Levi,
That
they may offer unto the Lord
And
offering in righteousness
|
Et il purifiera
les fils de Levi
Et ils
pourront offrir au Seigneur
L’oblation selon la justice |
|
8. O Thou that tellest
O
thou that tellest good tidings to Zion
Good
tidings to Jerusalem,
Arise, say unto the cities of Judah :
Behold your God ! Behold,
The
glory of the Lord is risen upon thee
|
Messagère pour Sion d’une bonne nouvelle
Pour
Jérusalem d’une bonne nouvelle
Elève-la,
dis aux villes de Juda :
Voici
votre Dieu ! Voici
La
gloire du Seigneur s’est levée sur toi.

11. For unto us a child
For
unto us a child is born,
Unto
us a son is given
And
the government shall be
Upon
His shoulder,
And
His name shall be called :
Wonderful, Counsellor, the mighty God,
The
everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.
|
Car un enfant nous est né,
Un fils
nous a été donné :
Il a
reçu l’empire
Sur ses
épaules
Et on
lui a donné pour nom :
Conseiller merveilleux, Dieu fort,
Père à
jamais, Prince de la paix
|

15. Glory to God

Glory to God in the highest,
And
peace on earth,
Goodwill towards men.

Gloire à Dieu au
plus haut des cieux,
Et paix
sur la terre
Aux
hommes de bonne volonté ! |

18. His yoke
Entry into Jerusalem
His
yoke is easy,
His
burden is light
|
Car son
joug est agréable
et son
fardeau est léger
|
|
19. Behold the lamb
The
Suffering
Behold the Lamb of God,
That
teketh away the sin of the world
|

Voici
l’Agneau de Dieu,
qui va
enlever le péché du monde
|

21. Surely
Surely, He hath borne our griefs
And
carried our sorrows
He
was wounded for our transgressions
He
was bruised for our iniquities :
The
chastisement of our peace
was
upon Him
|
Vraiment c’était nos souffrances
qu’il portait
Et nos
douleurs dont il était chargé
Mais lui, il a été transpercé
par nos infidélités
Broyé
par nos fautes.
Le
châtiment qui nous rend le bonheur
A pesé
sur lui.

with His stripes we are healed
|
Et c’est
par ses plaies que nous sommes guéris |
|
23. All we like sheep
All
we like sheep have gone astray
We
have turned ev’ry one to his own way,
And
the Lord hath laid on Him
The
iniquity of us all.

Nous
tous, comme des brebis, nous errions,
Allant
chacun devant soi :
Et le
Seigneur a fait retomber sur lui
Les
fautes de nous tous. |

25. He trusted in God
He
trusted in God the He would deliver Him
Let
Him deliver Him, if He delight in Him

Il s’en
remet au Seigneur : qu’il le sauve,
Qu’il le
délivre puisqu’il l’aime ! |

30. Lift up your heads
The
Ascencion
Lift
up your heads, O ye gates,
And
be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors
And
the King of Glory shall come in ü
Who
is this King of Glory ?
The
Lord strong and mighty in battle.
Who
is this King of Glory ?
The
Lord of Hosts, hi is the King of Glory

Portes, élevez
vos linteaux,
Elevez-vous,
portes antiques
Et le
Roi de Gloire fera son entrée
Quel est
ce Roi de Gloire ?
Le
Seigneur des armées,

ce Roi de Gloire ?
C’est
lui le Roi de Gloire. |

33. The Lord Gave
The
Lord gave the word:
Great was the company of the preachers.

Le
Seigneur a dit une parole,
Et ses
messagers sont une grande armée |
|
37 Let us break
Let
us break their bonds asunder,
And
cast away their yokes from us. |
Brisons leurs entraves,
Et
jetons loin de nous leurs chaînes. |

The
Resurrection
Hellelujah !
For
the Lord God omnipotent reigneth
The Kingdom of this world is become
The
Kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ;
And
He shall reign for ever and ever
King
of Kings, and Lord of Lords

Since by man came death,
By
man came also the resurrection of the
dead
For
as in Adam all die,
Even
so in Christ shall all be made alive

Puisque
par un homme est venue la mort
C’est
par un homme aussi que nous devons
ressusciter.
Et comme
tous meurent en Adam De même aussi tous revivront dans le Christ
|

47. Worthy ist the Lamb
Worthy is the Lamb that was slain
And
hath redeemed us to God by >His blood,
To
receive power, and riches, and wisdom,
And
strength, and honour, and glory and Blessing.
Blessing and honour, glory and pow’r
Be
unto Him that sitteth upon the throne,
And
unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

Il est
digne, l’Agneau qui a été égorgé,
Qui
s’est sacrifié à Dieu par son sang,
De
recevoir la puissance, la richesse, la
sagesse,
la force, l’honneur, la gloire et la
bénédiction.
A celui
qui est assis sur le trône et à l’Agneau
Soient
la bénédiction, l’honneur, la gloire et
la
domination pour les siècles des siècles.
